Attorney Profiles- Billie Tarascio

Biography

Attorney Billie TarascioAfter graduating from University of Oregon, School of Law in 2005, Billie knew she didn’t want a traditional legal career. After several years contracting with law firms, she went out on her own in search of a better way of doing things for herself, and her clients.

A low-cost, limited scope model emerged and in 2008 Billie opened Access Legal Services in Oregon. In 2009, Billie’s husband was offered a job in Tempe, Arizona and they relocated from the Northwest, to the Valley of the Sun. The model of services was transported to downtown Mesa, where Billie teamed up with attorney Allyson Del Vecchio to form the firm Tarascio & Del Vecchio, PLLC utilizing the Access Legal Services unique model.

The concept of limited scope legal services is not new. Legal practitioners all over the country are supplementing their practices through “unbundled,” “discrete task” or “limited scope” representation. Likewise, consumers all over the country are demanding to pay lower fees and have more involvement in their cases. What makes Tarascio & Del Vecchio unique from other firms is the focus that we place upon limited-scope service at a fraction of the cost of traditional attorneys.

Billie attended University of San Diego Law School and the University of Oregon School of Law and graduated in 2005.  She worked at several firms in Eugene including the Department of Justice, Family Law Division, the non-profit A Family for Every Child and clerked at the Lane County Juvenile Court under Justice Kip Leonard. Her legal focus is on education law, including special education within schools, family law, adoption and immigration.

Billie and her husband have two boys and live in Mesa, Arizona. In her spare time she enjoys singing at church, cooking and spending time outdoors.

Billie sat for the Arizona Bar Exam in July 2011 and passed! She is expecting Arizona admission soon. Until that time, Billie is available for immigration, Oregon Family Law issues and special education advocacy.
